Knights, as a secondary class, incline to be considerably straight forward and specifically profit melee classes the most with their ability of sealing nuke and administering armor buffs to lighter classes.
Representatively, Warriors and Rogues in Runes of Magic are the two classes competing in that type. If one had to play a match, the Rogue will come out as the clear winner. Sometimes a reliant class can not be depended on; DPS control is the only critical factor. While a Warrior or a Knight can work, the other has the ability to combine strikes, exert seals and pump out sick melee DPS with absolute control as long as the player has enough energy and mana. Ranged battlers may also have advantages from the Knight secondary to a certain extent, attaining extra toughness and DPS at melee ranges.
In Runes of Magic, Priest combining with Knights gain a special bit of synergy since both of them can use shields and additional stun effects. The number of armor and HP buffs gained between the two supports the combination between them.
