So much of the information on the Internet about WOW is based on hardcore raiding and endgame PvP that the new players often get overlooked. There are a lot of guides for new players that 鈥済uarantee鈥?the best strategies for success at leveling.

1. Take Your Time! Seriously, if this is the first time you play World of Warcraft (or any MMO for that matter); you should take the time to explore the content at every level. If it takes you months to level up, big deal 鈥?at least you actually crazed about yourself in the game and got plenty of entertainment that power levelers probably miss.

2. Get Bags. This is especially true if you were brought into WOW as part of Recruit-A-Friend from a high level player. Anyone at 80 keeps several hundred gold on hand just from daily quests and items that sell for tons of gold, so donating 20-50g to you to purchase 16+ slot bags won鈥檛 be a big deal. Bag space is necessary to quest because you can pick up every item that drops and either use it or sell it for some quick cash.

3. Sell Everything! This goes with the bag tip. Pick up everything that drops from NPCs. Don鈥檛 care whether it鈥檚 cloth, herbs, or just grey-quality trash. Additionally, you should pick up two professions as complement. The things that you don鈥檛 use to level the profession can be sold for an easy profit. Grab two gathering professions such as skinning, mining or herbing to sell raw materials on the Auction House, or take complementing professions such as tailoring or enchanting to sell things you can make WOW gold. The items you make to level the profession can be disenchanted them and the materials are sold on the AH if you can鈥檛 sell the actual item. Each WOW guide is valuable.
